This is the forum improvements thread. Here us admins will be posting daily updates about the site.
Also feel free to make suggestions on improvements, We're listening!

UPDATES - March 13th:

18:04 - Currently working on improving the Icons for post and topics.

18:13 - Update
Fixed icons, pictures, refined colors and Fixed time from summer to winter time.

21:10 - For now we have an issue with signatures. PLease remember to attach your signature when you post a new thread.
Theres an error that does not allow other posts to have attached signature if the OP did not attach his. Untill we get this fixed please keep this in your mind

Updated top logo so it looks much better and alot more swift to look at.

As you can see i Merged 4 posts into one. This was the news of yesterday. Cya later im off to get some sleep

UPDATES - March 14th

11:00 - Added new smileys and removed some. Edited in icons and added a swear filter.
Signature issues have been fixed and signatures is now running! You're no longer allowed to change your username just like that. You are now allowed to change your e-mal after registration.

Only a few words have been added to the swear filter as of now but more will be added in time.
PLease remember to attach your signature.

At the top beneath your user name your location in the forums is written in whight. Its hard to read against the background.

Yes i'm aware of this issue and i am trying to fix it.

Link colors have been fixed to a darker grey. Its now visible. However username links aswell as threads and topic link have the grey color aswell so it can be a little hard to tell a difference.

-Edited top logo, refined links and text colors as requested. Tell me if its better. Removed a few smileys including the chrisytmas themed once (its not christmas untill 9 months -.-)

-More words have been added to the swear filter and some cool new features have been taken into consideration.

-Topic icons have been updated slightly.

-New Set of smilies have been added. To acces them just click the roll down menu above the original smileys ("View more emoticons") and chose "Rounded set"


And as you've probably noticed more people have joined us. We're now at 12 members. Remember you're free to invite anyone to come here.

-Removed some smileys

-Edited some technical info and issues¨

-Fixed a bug that prevented users acces to another from a profile page.

-New features: Points and reputation

Now you can gain points for just about everything you do here on the forum. They're avaible for view amongst the info below a members avatar.
Some stuff earns you more points than other. For example: Making a thread in the "Forum improvements" forum earns you 20 points as a reward
for helping us improvin the forum.

Post earns you different points varying on which forum you post in.

Reputation is yet an inactive feature but will improve as soon as it is enabled.

Is there a way to automatically attatch your signature? I need to keep checking the add signature box every time I post

I can suggest you go to your preference setting under profile options.
You'll find an option to toggle it. Just click the "Always attach my signature"
And it should be attached always...

Alright. Seeing as some people is using this to report error issues and seek help i shall create a special thread for that...

These 3Dish smiyles freak me out:

I want 3D moving smiley's, I am trying to find some, but they are hard to come across.

OK, i dunno if you can fix this, and its a really small thing so it doesn't matter too much, but whenever you add a link or a picture, is sticks it at the end of the message, instead of where that little flashy bar thing is. It's not too big a deal, but i like to draft out a message, THEN stick in the pics and links, and Crtl+X, Ctrl+v again and again can get tedious

Please post this in the forum help section, not this one.
I would move it but I don't know how :(.

I'm well aware of this issue and i am trying to fix it. Please be patience while i see if its possible to sort out...

Is there anyway for you to add status to members like "guru" and "newbie"?
I tried but I was unsuccessful.

Actually i've been working on that for quite some time....

I was thinking of adding some later when the coding is done....

I could add them now if you wanted me to!
But just a question, do you want them like the UK EA forums, or a spore version (eg. 0-100 posts = cell).
